Coastal Marine Canvas was built to fill a void in this industry in RI. While there are several high quality fabricators around, there are many more retiring every year. After an intense training in Florida from instructors with over 50 years experience, a couple new heavy duty sewing machines and a 30 ft table, Coastal Marine Canvas was born. Top quality materials, great attention to details and quick turn around have solidified our place.
Our Mission
To design and craft marine canvas that protects your boat and honors the time you spend on the water. With the prices of new boats on the rise, We are finding a lot of love for the 20-30 year old boats. We want to be part of that “new” boat feel. Clear Stratoglass or Polycarbonate, new canvas and clean vinyl bolsters and seats are all you need!

We like to go out clamming and fishing and pull up on a beach to explore in our little old boat. Well they built a Bimini frame from scratch, made a custom Bimini top that fit like a glove. Then they made us custom seat cushions that snapped right on the bench seats. They threw in a boot to enclose the Bimini top and protect it. Finally a breathable cover out of Sunbrella fabric to protect everything inside while the boat is in our driveway. They are the best!
I was looking to replace my front Bimini top for my Searay. Marc took a look at it and put together a package price to include the 3 front panels and the 2 side curtains. He knew the old canvas would look terrible and might have a difficult time fitting with the years of shrinking and warping. I was so impressed with the new look, I got the aft Bimini and Bimini extension and the aft camper curtain with screens and Stratoglass done. Now the boat looks brand new.
